the lowly 318 may suprize u its not the bad faimly grossery getter we have ben lead to think it is . all the new "experts say the 318 r junk . the same way they use to think thr lowly smog 400 was a junk motor the 318 is no 340 likethe 400 is no 383 but both can be made to run (i built up a smog 400 thst ran 115 through the 1/4+ it was a hell of a driver . so dont sell them short
