with a hi volume pump it is good to drill extra holes in plate. clean area well and use adhesive on a new gasket. on an initial break in of a new engine , especially in cold temps preheat oil

I have been chasing a couple issues since break in - high oil pressure and a leak from the oil filter. Hoping to kill two birds by modifying my 4 hole back plate and gasket refresh.... stay tuned
