i ca't beleve this is even a topic these days . Back in the day you bought a chain whatever brand and it worked . has quality control gotten that bad ? I n 40 years i can't remember ever buying a new chain that was loose
Parts store chain sets have always been crappy. Maybe not as bad as now, but crappy. I've seen guys put single row, nylon cam gear sets on an otherwise HP build with decent compression, a lumpy cam and all the other bolt ons. ......and "thought" it ran good.
