Today, dollar for dollar, is the 318 faster than the 340 ???

Back in 1966-8 one of the very fastest cars in South Ga, that whole end of the state was a 64 1/2 or 5 Mustang coup, 289 4 speed. He would race anyone with anything for $100. That was serious $ back then. He seldom lost. The kid did not even have a tach, shifted by ear.
