Yard Guys- How do you Prep for Grass?

Fescue is cool season grass, grows mostly in spring, goes dormant in hot dry summer month. It is a pasture grass used in N Ga. and especially more North, along with warm season grasses like Bermuda, Fescue will grow on a rock! Its the poor man's pasture in the North like Bahia is for the South.
Fescue seed is cheap at a real farm store. I would broadcast it is very early spring or early fall. It will surprise you unless your soil pH is totally wrong for it. For a lawn, it is not lawn rass but it is grass and extremely hardy.
