Learning to play guitar today is much easier then it used to be!
I never took lessons.
Had records and cassettes and had to listen over and over and learn how to tune and play by ear.
Now there is youtube!
You can search anything and watch videos .
The main thing I tell beginners is you have to play!
It takes many hours and consistent practice every day.
It will come !
Be patient , don't try to play fast .
Work on getting your fingers acquainted with the fretboard.
