I putting a 360 in the Duster I just got. What dual plane manifold can I run without having to have a hood scoop? My hood is minty and I kinda want the satin black with the callout look, with no scoop.

Previous owner of the Duster has a stash of 340's and all kinds of stuff, including a LD340 intake that I think he will sell me. I am looking for options if that falls through.

I use a Drop Base Air Cleaner on my Edelbrock Performer Rpm. Great Mainfold

victor and air gap both fit my 70 dart with factory air cleaner

Awesome info guys. May come down to availability. The LD340 may take awhile to get, he is a Mopar hoarder which we have alot of up here, so he lets stuff go slowly. Anyway, not much in stock these days, this one is available at a couple of places, will this one work for a mid 70's truck 360 engine? Performer RPM Small Block Chrysler Intake Manifold

I know it is one of the ones mentioned, but I want to be absolutely sure it will work before dumping this kind of money

I have had a Mopar M1single plane, and air gap, and a Weiand Excellerator single plane on my Dart. All clear easily with stock flat hood

The Performer RPM is mostly a later model version of an LD340, so it should work. If the truck engine was a 4 barrel motor, it would have had a factory dual plane intake...but would have been the spreadbore version. LD340 intakes are going for stupid money nowadays, IF and WHEN they come up for sale. Play dumb and offer the dude $250 for it and see if he will sell it.

I have an LD340 intake on a stock 69 Dart 340, it clears the hood with ease.

Ran a Performer RPM on a 340 with a MP drop base air cleaner for years with a flat hood

73 360 Dart, Air Gap, 1" spacer, FiTech TBI, 3" filter. Right at the limit! The wing nut will scratch if not tightened enough. Drop air cleaner base too.

Car parts are hard to find in stock these days, I guess the pandemic boosted the hobby :)

How do we feel about the Weiand Stealth dual plane?

That's for sure can't find any good parts I'm settling for chinessium and even that is hard to find

LD340 clears my dusters hood. With a 1/2" spacer, 625 street demon, and stock air cleaner.

I bought a Stealth and returned it. The current Stealth is the same manifold as the Action Plus, except it has a square bore carb mount instead of a spread bote. The port outlets are 318 size and the one I got had some core shift. I was disappointed by the quality and returned it. I wound up finding an RPM online at O'Reilly Auto. They sent it to my local store. It's worth checking if they still have them. They had RPM's and Airgaps both listed in stock a couple of months ago.

While my Weiand did perform very well, the core shift is bad. The are ports small which was not a surprise. There is no provision for mounting a coil. And the thing I didn’t like the most is that I had to grind on the outside of the intake against the runners walls to fit a attaching screw in. Reduced in head but of size ARP bolts below.
Never again.

The flange on the reduced head fastener looks larger than an normal bolt.
