You might already have an Edel carb......or later model aftermarket Carter. Should have a 4 digit number on one of the mounting feet. While I agree an Edel AVS2 would be better, it might not be worth the extra $$$ versus cleaning up the current carb.
the only numbers i could kinda see were on a lever on the side when i type those numbers it takes me to a edelbrock listing on ebay should be similar to a edelbrock performer
