67 GTS 4-Speed: Daily Summer Driver

This past weekend was a productive one. I was able to make it to Carlisle and picked up some good stuff! got a super six set up for the convertible, some small a/c stuff for the charger and a few odds and ends for the GTS. However I had a lot of time to get stuff done to the GTS:

I was able to chase the bolt holes for the seat belts, installed those and got the rear section of the carpet in. I got the window sweeps in, rear upper trim pieces in, the rear cards in, the inner sill moldings and the rear bench in! looks pretty darn snazzy.

I was going to get the front carpet trimmed and get the console and kick panels in but realized I was missing one door ajar switch, so I decided that was enough interior work until I can get the door switches in, high beam switch in and bring the front seats back. I also need to make a wiring harness for the tach. So I moved my attention to the gas tank. I tried bending the strap and the J bolt to get the clearance I needed from the pipe but nothing would work. So I ended up dimpling the pipe to get the proper clearance. It fits okay, I dont like how close the pipe is to the gas tank but I am not to sure I can do much about that

Seeing that I had a friend over for the show, I got him to help me out installing the peak trim on the car that I just coated. And man does it look great!! I got the fender mounted turn signals in as well. One step closer!
