Cam bearing issue

I had that issue, I cut grooves in an old cam core lubed it up real good and slid it in while turning it. Go slow, and put it back out and clean the grooves out. Will make you cry, but that’s what I dd. Works fine. For what I see, I wouldn’t touch them. Make sure the oil holes line up and put it back in. If you can turn the cam with a socket on the sprocket bolt with your hand. Its fine, if not, needs to be scraped or reamed.
