I'm looking for a standard 383 crankshaft that has been drilled for a 4-speed please let me know what you got shipping would be to 19720 a machine shop if you need a box let me know I can send you a crank box thank you Rob

I was thinking that you might find a local A/T one cheap and have it drilled vs paying a premium for a 4sp unit and then paying shipping .

Dam Rob, I keep forgetting to send u my info for payments. Lol. Kim
Kim I was really interested in that 440 crankshaft I wanted to build a 431 Stroker motor with my 383 but I heard from other members that you did not want to deal with me anymore that's why I have not got your information I don't know if it's true or not true but at this point it is what it is I guess I really didn't want that 440 crankshaft I just wouldn't be able to do anything now until the middle of August I was just putting a feeler out there for this crankshaft

AFAIK, all of the steel cranks are drilled for four speeds. The cast cranks are not. You cannot drill a cast crank without the possibility of breaking into the oil passages in the crankshaft. Several members here have done just that. So you have to be careful. I don't recommend it at all. I would just hold out for a steel crank.

And so, you can't buy the 383 crank you're advertising wanting NOW until the middle of August? And you "wonder" why people don't want to mess with you?

Rob I know why you don't want to mess with me and you put me on block it's because you ripped me off no I have the money for a steel crank right now I don't have the money for the 440 crank as it's 400 bucks plus 225 shipping from Canada
