Blood sugar / glucose monitor?

I'm actually standing in line to get my "3 month" average done at the clinic. I had mine covered as I am diabetic. They are "pushing" me to the needle, but am fighting it as much as possible. A 10 yr diabetic which I am usually ends up on the needle. Also "Libre" is a patch that they stick into your skin. That gives you a "live" reading. Again NO THANKS!
I can deal with the finger pricks to check blood.
You should check 1 hour before meal and 1 hour after. So theoretically approx 6-8 times a day. I'll get you the make/model of mine shortly.
