Absolutely!! I'm a machinist, there should be a place in town that can turn down the seal area. But.......If you buy a ready seal and the OD comes out 1 or 2 thousands bigger than needed it shouldn't cause a problem at all!! The ready seal is designed to be heated to make it expand and fit over the axle. You should call them as see which one will work with your axle diameter. There are many options. You can also install the ready seal and have the machine shop grind the diameter down to your liking??
