TO DROP OR NOT TO DROP
Setting the cars under consideration up for drag racing and appearance is very different from setting it up for handling.
Just wanted to point out the obvious.
Exactly why would someone think a pedestrian new car will "handle" better than a properly tuned and engined A body?
I really don't know.
New cars seemed to be more concerned with protecting idiot drivers in a crash than preventing the crash.
And cost of production must surely factor in the engineering of new cars.
Never have I been disappointed with my daily drivers or the torsion bar system.
I'm convinced these cars have helped me avoid disaster on the interstate more than once due to my driving error and avoiding debris at speed.
