I thought a 3k engine build is really not a "small box". In fact, I don't have a 3k motor in any of my classics..... so to me, it's a BIG Box !!! :)

What I meant by that is all of your constricting rules. You know, the gotta buy it and not already have it. If somebody already HAS a good 340 core and all it needs is a basic rering and rebearing, by your little box, they're disqualified.

I GET the point of your post and agree. But it's slanted to your favor right away. Because we all know an already existing good core 340 with 3K thrown at it would eat all 318 commers for lunch.
