Some Challenger progress.
For once i will not be blowing a car all apart. I decided to unbox everything and bolt it on the car. This way i will know what i have, what is missing and what is broken.
The front bumper was way to far gone to save so out came the DA and now its black.
Also cleaned up the hood and primed it. Then i started on the driver fender, setting the gaps before i realised. "This will never work." So it came off and is getting body worked and adjusted before going back on.
Here is where i started.
The front end mostly assembled beofre i realised the fender will never line up. So it had to come off and while its off, may as well body work and paint prep it.....
Pops stripping the under coat off the OUT SIDE of the fender..... sigh... who dose that... good new is, it didnt rust....
:)
One box was labeled "Carbon fiber dash and gauges..."
Eh... i think this is for sale... I gonna find a rally cluster hopefully.
And then there is this.....
Its hard to see but ya see the rust colored rectangle behind the coil over.. yeah... that is a hole cut in the frame where the frame rail fully rusted out... not a big deal to fix but why was it painted and then cut out?
Why was it never fixed?
The guy was driving this car, was he driving it like that?
So many questions....
:)
