74 power wagon dream truck...

I know the feeling. I can do body work but hate it. Always looking for a way to avoid it. Best thing is to just get at it and get it done. The longer you leave it the harder it is to get back at it. The last time I had to take a break from the Dart was midway through the body work stage...all block sanding, which is my least favorite. Took me forever to get motivated enough to get back at it. Biggest thing that keeps me going now is finally seeing the color go on.
This started out as a three to four year project and now 7 months into it I've got close to the first year and a half done. I really put forth some heavy steam in the cab floors and the other prep of the cab.
At this point I really thought the cab would be out of the garage and then someone else's shop for a few weeks to be able to get personal projects done, honeydews if you will... I kind of neglected help on the spring cleaning around the house so now it's mid to late summer cleaning LOL... Anyways getting some of that tied up today and a little bit tomorrow morning as well. I'll have the next couple days off after that probably get some kind of a start but that is discouraging at best because the next two weeks are pretty much spoken for after that... So I will get a little jump on it here in the next couple days but any serious progress is going to be a couple weeks from now..
Well I do have the transmission on my workbench ready to go I'm trying to save that for when the weather turns. I really am still going to keep a heavy head of steam when time comes available to get this cab and paint before winter starts...
I want it out of my shop so I can have room to tackle some of the smaller projects...
