Today, dollar for dollar, is the 318 faster than the 340 ???

Man.... oh live !! Don't let this turn into a chest bumping contest !!! This thread simply asked a yes or no question. Do you think if you had a 3k budget to buy and build a 318 or 340 at fair market prices, which would make the most power at the end of spending 2999.99 ?? If you think 318, vote 318.
