you said in another post that your engine would cost 10,000 to build and another 5,000 for even better parts,...i can build a engine i can be happy with for less than 3 grand and itll last a long while too...wont be no race car but wont be a turd ether!
I said that. lol I've also built service engines for much less.
My favorite pastime was the re-ring, bearing and gasket rebuild on big blocks, long time ago.
The big blocks haven't been produced for over 40 years now, so most big blocks are worn out and beyond the basic re-ring.
I could see a re-ring being a viable option on the roller small blocks though. :thumbsup:
