My First Mopar- 1966 Barracuda project

Found the squirrels’ acorn stash. Seems the geckos moved from the garage and made the squirrels’ nest their new nursery.

Good news is the floor metal was solid outside of the floor pan area. I won’t have to replace the driver side passenger well, it is just surface rust. I’ll plug weld the “race” exhaust hangar bolt and patch the other 3 foot wells and spare tire section.

Re-keyed a tumbler I had on hand along with a different Briggs and Stratton key. Glove box is locking now.

Also found the working turn signal switch. Stalk was rusty, it polished back up to driver status.

Hoping to get the floors done soon so I can spray the underside with Raptor liner and move on dropping the engine an transmission in.
