I need to look into that maverick. I was looking for an 16-18" barrel for the 870 I already have and couldn't find anything under $200 a few months ago. Even old take off barrels I could cut down are expensive these days.

That's where I'm at
I own a pardner shotgun (Chinese 870 clone ) with a 28 inch barrel and it is the best shotgun I ever fired

Never a failure of any kind, and dead accurate

I tried finding an 18.5 inch barrel for it, but they aren't to be had anymore

And in the off chance I do find one, this whole gun will be cheaper
