The adapter plate seems like a PITA unless you are willing to do "mods." It is outlined over at BigBlockDart

I haven't look d it up yet, but I will. I'm bummed, I thought from what I read it wouldn't.be an issue. I guess after getting it home and researching a little more, the cross member and shifter occupy the same space.
