1969 'cuda 383 4-speed

i love watching GYC's and i am glad that Worman is out there restoring old mopars. however, it is abundantly clear that he DOES NOT want to do A-body mopars. that's fine - but he should just tell A-body guys to take their cars to another shop. now that GYC's has been going strong for some 14 years, they certainly must have developed "efficiency" procedures and practices for B and E body mopars. there is an advantage to just doing B and E body mopars as you can order the same parts over and over again and a lot of the drive train parts are interchangeable. one thing that i can't understand is how GYC's are even still working on these cars. the supply chains for ALL car parts have blown up and getting "specialty" parts for old mopar muscle cars right now is like being a mechanic living in Havana, Cuba. i've been waiting for a Barracuda fastback rear window glass gasket from Year One since early July!! they sent me an email last week saying they "think" the part will be in by the end of this month (September). there is NO WAY Worman is getting all the parts he needs to do the amount of cars he has sitting out in his parking lot. unless you were a "50 something" guy with a lot of money which you want to give to Worman to "restore" the 70 Hemi Cuda you just bought, you just can't live LONG ENOUGH to have GYC's restore your car. if you can do "some" work yourself and are willing to take your car to a couple of different shops for the work, you can get a car restored in less than 2 years.
