Any head that flows 260cfm at .450 lift will work well. Especially years ago with cams like Racer Browns .520 lift solid lifter cam that many of the guys ran. Combine that with a stock stoke 340 and a little more compression and a good carb and you were ready to rock and roll. Their issue is after .450 lift they fall FAST but that is easily quickly fixed to get 300-305cfm with a 2.02 valve. Up the valve size to 2.05 or 2.08 and 220-230cfm is reachable.
