Noob question

Is there a listing or thread in here on local shops (machine?, mechanic? muffler? ) that members have used and been happy with as points of reference?

I use Franks garage. A little hole in the wall one man band. Mechanical, welding and fabricating. Certified mechanic. Best part i get all my labour for free.
