1965 MMP's Barracuda Hemi swap! The Ever Changing Build
So this weekend I was able to get the sub frame mounted and the motor fitted. No pictures is that later Sunday I did cut the trans tunnel and was able to get the trans bolted to the back of the motor and in its place. But I wanted to mention that this HDK unit will allow many things that other swap kits will not. With this setup I do not have to notch the frame or relocate the Alternator, or use a block off plate and a remote oil filter. ( I'm using a stock 45*) Also I'm running a set of stock Eagle head "D" port manifolds. with ample room! There is one issue that I have run into that that is with the motor moved as far forward as the mounts allow I will have to notch the oil pan to clean the steering rack. This is only because I moved the motor as far forward as I could to allow a bit more room for my transmission.
