yes, the slant engines was built at the Windsor plant in Canada as was many A engines...it could be simple as QUICK RELIABLE STARTING (see below..lol) but for some reason I am thinking it for something else...if were on the say the radiator shroud or say glove box door thne maybe QUIET RIDE SUSPENSION....but on the engine....it is just a quess and was hoping a slanty fan would have the answer. The Canadians use some of their own castings to satisfy home grown requirement for shared facility. Just something of interest that may never get the real data for.
