Those engines are pretty tough. They have some kind of fancy valve guide material and stellite valve seats don’t know if that’s the right spelling. None of the heads I’ve dealt with have been seized. You know yourself if it turns it’ll run. Pick up a vw hod rod mag lots of big bore kits available. Don’t know everything about them but will share my experience Fred
