Rebuilt, never used, Alternator-for big blocks!

that is a 100A alternator. Bracketry is different from the standard type Mopar alternator because of its physically bigger size. They started putting those on as std equip around '77-ish on anything with the rear window defogger grid. if you can find the bracketry it's a good upgrade. BUT they shunted the ammeter on cars that came with one of these.
years ago I didnt know "that" and put one on my 79 Ramcharger. I had saved the one from my 76 Charger SE, and transplanted it to the Ramcharger. The 1st time I went to jump a friend's car and alt output went "full tilt" I had a smoke show in the dash,,, yup, my ammeter. I bypassed the ammeter and all was good again.
