Stop in for a cup of coffee

A gardener friend taught me how to get rid of small tree stumps up to about a foot wide. Take a 1" auger and drill motor and drill a half dozen holes into the stump in a vertical fashion as deep as the auger will go. Fill the holes with Pool/Muriatic Acid for a couple of weeks. When the time comes put a choker around the stump hook it to the back of the pickup/tractor and yank it out.
