I retired from the PD 14 years ago. The war on whatever was still going strong and the National Guard put me to work for about five years before I hit their mandatory retirement. I took my SS at 62 because I hadn't put much into it. Retirement is what you make it and I've really enjoyed mine so far. As soon as we get this house done and settled in I can return to a "normal retiree life" haha!!

You and I retire the same way. Neither of us can sit in a recliner and watch the world go by. Our minds and bodies won’t let us. Not to mention our brides! Hah! We are really looking forward to living at home again. Fargo is fine, and we have made some cash up here but our hearts and families are in Arkansas. See ya soon!
