Factory High Stall Converters

Ok guys, I have a HPbooks, TORQUEFLIGHT A-727, transmission handbook from Carl H Monroe, among others. I think all of this discussion is explained very vividly in that book, as Rusty says. "it's a goodun". And yes, if a feller had one or several of each different converters Mopar manufactured for this 727 box he could do pretty good as they do work very well unless they are full of crud. Plus they would damn near lock at 1 to 1 under low throttle cruse. Yep, that was good info to get back in theday. now a day i have moved up to the insane stuff. ok
