I bought this car in January..full intensions on keeping it as close to factory as possible..as it was a semi survivor.. BUT, I kept going in a direction in buying things and chaging things to want I want...lol

meh, somewhat I guess. If I found one local for under 200 I'd go get it. They are every bit as strong as the non Hemi 4 speed. It's a good transmission, people just prefer a 4 speed.

I was actually looking forward to keeping the original 3spd in the car...I bought this car in January..full intensions on keeping it as close to factory as possible..as it was a semi survivor.. 72 318 3spd 3.23 Hemi Orange Demon... BUT, I kept going in a direction of buying things and changing things to what I wanted.. It was a bench seat car, I bought year correct buckets and back seat.. I replaced the factory mammoth steering wheel with an OEM Tuff Wheel.. Pistol grip shift handle.. Pulled the tired warranty engine to set in a 71 318 with 4 bbl and I heads.. Again, it may or may not matter when I sell the car if I keep all the original stuff to offer to a buyer..guess as usual, it would just come down to the buyer..
