Stop in for a cup of coffee

Our new neighbor is moving. He bought a 10,000 square foot house with a garage that can hold his 25 car collection. :wtf:
Behind his house and just south of our house he has a three acre wooded lot with a large meadow. We look out on it from our back deck.
This property is separate from his house that he's selling soon.
We have offered to buy the lot. We either buy it, or he sells it along with his house which sits on another three acre lot.
We thought it'd be nice to control our view for the next 20-30 years.
