Check the rotation of your drill, CCW counter clock wise for priming the big blocks.

Priming the Small Blocks is the opposite, turning CW clockwise.

Big Block = distributor shaft rotation, counter clockwise.

Yeah, I got it to squirt out of the drivers side. CCW and a smidge more of a turn on the crank did it. found #1 compression stroke and putting stuff back together for a hopeful start tomorrow. Do I have to prime RIGHT before starting? or am I good with the night before?

thanks! I know this is supposed to be what we did on our car today, so that is what I did.....should I not be asking questions? No feelings hurt if not. Just say it.
