Idle speed has a lot to do with the sound.
IMO, 12many has it a bit high, his call though.
AJ stated 500/550? Wow that’s low. Again, his call.
Really, as long as it goes into gear without a clunk or a jerk, idles in gear, and your happy with it, your good to go. Cam dependent, my idle’s are around that 700-850 area. I don’t care what the factory settings are. It’s not stock.
