Well, you can be the judge of it for yourself. But when a guy is willing to pay $1200 for a Datsun 510 tachometer... I'm out. Or $600 for a 1969-70 Series 1 240z ash tray? No thanks! A few weeks back an acquaintance's 510 wagon sold on Bring a Trailer for over $30,000 ... It was mismatched red panels. I miss the days when you could actually get paid for hauling away a junk Datsun. Or when a Z was about $10K fully restored. Some Z sold for $300K a while back. It's all nonsense. It was far more fun when it was cheap. At least with American stuff it's loud, rumbling and "actually" fast. There's nothing fast about a 1.6L Datsun 510 with a 2 bbl Weber. I actually sold all my Datsun and made about $8,000 on B210 parts. ... Yeah, say that out loud! Eight-thousand dollars on B210 parts. Yikes. Made enough money to buy this Barracuda and still have some left over. Wild world we're living in.
But that's like, my opinion man.
