If the block has already been bored and it needs a rebore, I'm going to get a different block as I don't want a 0.060 over engine I believe in only boring enough to clean up the bore,if a 0.020 over will do it then that's what I'll do
I'm not telling you to bore it 60 over, smallest bore size you can get away with is always a good idea.
In my case I had the block sonic checked and it had adequate bore thickness at +60 so I went with that, I couldn't find off the shelf pistons at +50 and wasn't getting custom pistons made for a mild build.
In Australia these engines are no where near as plentiful as in the US so to get the most out of the block before it is scrap metal I will bore them to +60 if the block can take it.
