It's a small block. I know it looks big, but it's a small block. It may have some compression. Who knows what's in it? You get the compression up in a Cleveland and they'll haul the mail. Run a compression test on it when you get time.

Those canted valve heads take up a lotta room, but they sure do flow the air.
