Uncle Tony's response to Direct Connection

I watched a video this kid who owns this 318 put out.......I have to tell you its either me or im getting old, but some of this U tube stuff......So what was the point of a guy travelling all the way down to Tenn. to slap a engine together in 8 hours? What am I missing? The main bearings were standard size but the crank was cut ten under.......I was really curious as the rod journal sizes as I knew dam well what that would have sounded like if UT made the same mistake
When we were young we put together engines but at least we cleaned them. I mean we Gunked we scrubbed, hosed the hell out of a block,,,dried it oiled it.....That block was filthy
How cheap is plastic gauge? If UT would have checked at least one main, thats all it would have took
Another thing,,,,why would Nick's garage get involved with a engine put together like this, filthy dirty, not one but every frezze out plug is leaking
Its all about money,, keeping you on the hook, coming back for more, watching the drama play out and the advertising.....Nothing to be learned. no educational value whats so ever .....I see the point some of you were trying to make, I was looking at it at a different angle ....
