When I was in the union we would get these apprentices. I’d tell them this is the way it’s done. So off they would go, I’d walk over in a while to see how their doing. Oh they would say I found if I do it this way it’s much easier. I would say ok and go back to work. Then would come the next step and because they didn’t do what I told them the next step wouldn’t work. Tear it apart rebuild it. As this is going on I would tell him listen bricklaying is the second oldest trade on the planet (tell me what’s the oldest) everything your going to try has been tried before, this method works. No probs after that
