And the crappy thing is you have to tear it all apart and do over, which in most cases more than doubled the time. Which is coming out of someone’s pocket
Exactly the point. Seen that happen on a complete paint job many times when the guy puts to much hardener in the paint on the last coat and the paint wrinkles up and the only fix is to strip all that paint back off and redo it.
