74 power wagon dream truck...

I think chrome used to be a high end coating, but then it became so widely used on cheap junk that to me, it's just cheap looking. Plus, it's hard to polish and near impossible to repair if it gets even slightly damaged.. I hate it.

But NOS speed parts are cool, no matter what!

The worst fad since chrome though is to paint stuff black. Ugh. Same issues with upkeep, and there's no creativity to it. Every bro with long shorts and tall socks paints everything black on black on black...
Give me some color! Be creative! Hell, plating other than chrome can look good too. On a white truck, I'd be looking at some sort of blue or green or silver or maybe even a gray - I've never been a big fan of red. But that's just me...
