no kidding, as a child i NEVER had a snow day (but of course, i lived in different climate)
i was telling the wife we havent had a "real" winter in 10, 15 years now
she reminded me of the time i cleared the driveway, one snowy morning
backed the car out of the drive and into the street
but there was so much snow in the street it lifted the car up and all 4 tires were off the ground
so i dug it out, ran it back into the garage and started walking to work
turns out that was only about 8 years ago
