Circuit Board Connector Pin Broke

I broke 3 pins off years ago. I put in a tiny screw and nut to replace the pins. It worked great.
I did pretty much the same thing about 15 years ago. I went to Radio Shack and bought some very thin bolts and nuts. The bolts were about 1/2" long and fit snugly in the holes of the main connecter. I drilled a hole right in the center of where the pin was, and then I tightened the nut. I made sure the bolt stuck up just as high as the other pins. It has worked fine for over 15 years.
