340 or 360?
I like the 340. But more when used in a stroker application.
It yields more cubes, because of bigger bore, Not a bad thing.
In the whole scheme of things, a good 340 block might be 800-1000 bucks. A good 360 block, couple hundred.
The 500-700 dollar difference in the whole totality of the build is such it becomes a very minor factor. In other words say 7500 to do a 340 stroker instead of 7000 to do a 360…. For the difference, give me the 340…each to his own….
