421 Stroker with Trick Flow Heads/Intake Dyno - Redux

WOOOO! HOOOOO!

Narrow center line / big over lap cams do kind of suck with clutches. It takes practice getting the car rolling nice and easy. At the race, different story. Kind of a dump and hammer it. (Not exactly really, but you all get the point.)

Just send it! I have a 410 stroker with trickflow heads, about 11.1 comp 800avs carb and my cam is 238/242 @ 50 thou with about 600 lift on a 112 lobe center. I have not had it on an engine dyno but on the chassis dyno it makes 425 hp @ 6000 rpm and 550 ft lbs torque @ 4750 rpm. At a guess I think this is well over 500 hp at the crank about 530hp. It is in an Australian 1974 Valiant Charger, weighs about 3000 lbs and has a TKO 5 speed manual box in it with 3.91 diff ratio. As I am 67 years old I do not like to drive a lumpy pig but its street manners are excellent and it will wheelspin all the way through second gear and if the road is a bit dusty you have to be careful in third.
