Its an 87 325is. E30... Its likely a 5-speed manual. They didn't make SMGs until E46 anyway...

I got looking at the hood and thought it might be an E30 . I have had several ... my favorite BMW ! Simplicity and balance !
The shifting sounded like an SMG .. super fast shifts.
