2.02's in 308's
I just tossed a pair of 308s into the scrap ben. Are they worth keeping for someone?
They are worth 200 to 300
Very popular Superstock head
But watch for cracks from exhaust seat to plug or
Intake seat
I think that the small 302 even ported would not use
anything over 1.88 to much benefit! They are a tough head
to get over very effective intake port over 140 while the X heads are 167
without turning them into a lawn sprinkler!
My 1.78/1.50 "Stock" heads flow 220+ @ only 400 lift
At low lift the flow as good as my "Stock" 2.02/1.60 X heads.
Both cars are Nationally Competitive and held National Records.
HINT: there is much more to the valve than just the size of it
just like some parts of our anatomy.
