Slant 6 to 318 mount brackets
Need help with correct engine mount brackets for 72 Plymouth scamp (abody). car was originally slant 6 and I now have a v8 k member and a 67’ 318 block … they fit on the block but not don’t meet up with k frame..I’ve added a pic of the “318 mount brackets” and also the ones in picture bolted to the block actually line up (using I believe a 318 truck mount on passenger side) but next to no clearance on my steering box and TTI headers. Is this normal and just needs shimming or are my mounts wrong.. anyone have pictures of there 318 brackets installed in a 72 abody..thx
